In this world of plenty, too many people go to bed hungry each night.
Evensong Rising’s partner, Bread for the World, will lead us in writing an
Offering of Letters to Congress. These letters will join with the multitude of
others sent in by Christians across the United States urging our nation’s
decision makers to end hunger at home and abroad.
So, this Halloween, skip the candy and remember hungry people instead.
We’ll pray, we’ll celebrate, we’ll advocate, we’ll worship.
